ZUMA Press is offering a photo essay, with text, called “Global Warming Beacon.”

Environmental photographer Gary Braasch traveled to Antarctica to produce the essay. In his text, he describes how scientists confirmed their worst fears about global warming by studying the Antarctic ecosystem.

This week, news came out that Arctic ice has shrunk for the fourth year in a row.

ZUMA(www.zumapress.com) also reported that it has been getting many requests for photos of hybrid cars and other alternative-energy vehicles since President Bush called on Americans to conserve energy.
