AMG/Parade Names Scot Dalquist to Vice President of Newspaper Relations Group

AMG/Parade Executive Vice President of Newspaper Relations Dave Barber is pleased today to announce and welcome Scot Dalquist to AMG/Parade as Vice President of the Newspaper Relations Group, focusing on the Western U.S. newspaper partners.

Scot, who joins AMG/Parade with decades of experience in the newsprint industry, will manage relationships with more than 100 of AMG/Parade’s newspaper partners in 14 Western states. He will also be responsible for all circulation, creative marketing, promotion and customer care to help partner newspapers who carry Parade and all AMG/Parade titles increase readership and revenue. Scot will be based in Bend, Oregon.

“Scot’s track record of facilitating long-term business relationships with clients and industry contacts is a perfect complement to our current NRG team,” said Dave Barber. “His leadership and impressive background will be immensely valuable to both AMG/Parade and our newspaper partners as we continue to grow our business. Most recently, Scot served as the Manager of Printing and Publishing Sales for NORPAC, a producer of newsprint and commercial papers, in Longview, WA. Prior to that, he spent more than three decades in various sales manager positions with Resolute Forest Products and its predecessor companies. He has also held HR and sales roles at Burlington Northern Railroad. Scot graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Journalism. He and his wife Lynn reside in Bend, Oregon.
