Globe and Mail Editorial Writer Leaves Position


Karim Bardeesy has left his post as an editorial writer at Toronto’s The Globe and Mail. Bardeesy joined the editorial board in 2009 and also served as the board’s online editor. He has taught public narrative to several groups, including University of Toronto public policy graduate students; participants at the Maytree Foundation’s annual leadership conference; Israeli and Palestinian government officials; and non-profit groups in the United States. He worked as a political staffer at Queen’s Park (the Ontario legislative assembly and government) for five years, advising several MPPs and ministers.
