Former Co-Publisher of Missourian Dies at 81
Thomas Leary Miller, Sr., whose newspaper career at the Washington Missourian spanned nearly 40 years, died Thursday, July 27, 2017, after a short hospital stay in St. Louis County. He became ill Monday, July 24, and entered Missouri Baptist Hospital that day. He was just a few days short of age 82.
Miller retired at The Missourian in 1996. At that time he was co-publisher with his brother, Bill, Sr., and served as director of advertising for about 35 years.
