Kristen Go, an editor at theSan Francisco Chronicle since 2008, has been named to the newly created position of managing editor, digital, where she will run the media company’s growing online and visual operations.
Go was deputy managing editor at The Chronicle, providing digital and social media training to the staff and overseeing special projects and the Sunday newspaper. Go joined The Chronicle after working as a reporter and editor at the Arizona Republic in Phoenix. While at the Denver Post, she was part of the team that won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news for coverage of the student massacre at Columbine High School.
