Lee Glendinning Named Editor of Guardian US

Lee Glendinning has been appointed as editor ofGuardian US, having served as its deputy editor and head of news since late last year.


She replaces Katharine Viner, who returned to the UK to take over as editor-in-chief of the Guardian this week following the departure of Alan Rusbridger.


During Glendinning’s time at Guardian US, it has increased its audience to almost 30 million unique visitors, accounting for more than a third of the Guardian’s global readership.
