Scarborough Research, the leading source for local market media and consumer insights, announced the appointment of Brian Condon to executive vice president, commercial development. His official start date is April 1, 2011.
In this newly created role, Condon will direct Scarborough’s commercial development, with a focus
on digital services and bringing new solutions to existing and future client marketplaces. As such, he will
serve as a critical interface between Scarborough’s product management, analytics, operations and
marketing teams, and will have direct management responsibility for Scarborough sales across all
divisions. He reports to Tom Drouillard, Scarborough’s president and CEO.
Condon will coordinate closely with relevant practice leadership at Scarborough’s parent
organizations, Arbitron Inc. and The Nielsen Company. He will also act as chief liaison with other
Scarborough business partners, including segmentation system providers and other data companies.
Condon joins Scarborough from Nielsen Online where he was senior vice president of sales and
client services. Prior to working at Nielsen, Condon was vice president, sales and marketing for LVL
Communications, a Silicon Valley advertising agency. He held a variety of positions both in the U.S. and
abroad at Dun & Bradstreet and holds a bachelor of science in business from Miami University.
