Statesman Journal Names New Executive Editor

Northwest native Cherrill Crosby has been named as the new executive editor of the Statesman Journal.

Crosby, who replaces Michael Davis, comes to Salem from The Arizona Republic in Phoenix, where she has been director of the News Watchdog Center. The Arizona Republic and the Statesman Journal are both part of the USA TODAY NETWORK owned by Gannett.
