Julie Dunlap to assistant international editor from assistant managing editor for news. Dunlap will be responsible for the training of the AP’s editorial staff on the international desk in New York and bureaus abroad.
David Crary to the wire service’s national reporting team, based in New York, from chief of the AP’s Toronto bureau.
Christopher Thorne to correspondent in Dover, Del., from correspondent in Peoria, Ill. Throne succeeds TODD SPANGLER, who was promoted to correspondent in charge of the AP’s Pittsburgh bureau.
Joe Karius to publisher of the Vermont daily. Karius, most recently with the Brookings (S.D.) Register, will also oversee operations at the weekly Manchester (Vt.) Journal.
David Emmons to publisher of the Vermont daily and the weekly Brattleboro (Vt.) Town Crier from group manager of the Sanibel Newspaper Group in Florida. Emmons succeeds Richard Macko, who resigned in April.
Toni Ambroisio, Hillary Gaizler, and Craig Wilson to the newly created positions of account managers from senior account executives.
Marshall Ingwerson to managing editor, succeeding John Dillin, now associate editor and Washington bureau chief.
Clayton Jones to chief editorial writer at the daily from “”World”” editor. Jones succeeds Earl Foell, who was named contributing editor.
David Scott to international editor from editor of the weekly “”Homefront”” section. Scott will continue the daily “”World”” column launched by Jones. Scott will be succeeded by April Austin, former “”Home Forum”” editor.
Clay Collins to editor of the “”Work & Money”” section. Collins succeeds Lynde McCormick, who resigned.

Bill Draper to managing editor of the Kansas daily from news/weekend editor at The Hawk Eye in Burlington, Iowa. Draper succeeds John Lechliter, who was named managing editor at The Emporia (Kan.) Gazette.

Steve Zuckerman to business editor from business and money editor for The Wichita (Kan.) Eagle.
Stephen Cook to deputy managing editor from assistant managing editor at the newspaper.
Lynn Myers Berger to editor of the opinion page from acting editor of the opinion page.
