The Washington Post announced several changes in staff coverage. David Fahrenthold, environment staff writer, and Philip Rucker, national politics staff writer, are now covering Congress. Felicia Sonmez, blog assistant for The Fix, will head up a new Congress blog that has not yet launched. Perry Bacon, Congress staff writer, is now covering the White House, specifically focusing on President Obama. Shailagh Murray, Congress staff writer, will narrow down her coverage, focusing on the political dynamic between the White House and Congress. Paul Kane, Congress staff writer, is now focusing on the Republican House majority.
