Two Top Editors Retiring as Downsizing Continues at Tribune-Review

Two top editors at the Tribune-Review newspapers are retiring and another has resigned as the publishing company continues to downsize and restructure its operations.

Trib Total Media said in a memo to employees today that Frank Craig, its editor, and James Cuddy, its managing editor, will retire effective immediately. Duke Maas, deputy managing editor for sports, “resigned to pursue new career opportunities,” according to the memo from Jennifer Bertetto, the company’s president and chief executive.

Luis Fabregas, who was formerly deputy managing editor, medical editor and investigative reporter, was named editor of the Tribune-Review’s Pittsburgh edition.
