Writer for ‘Flo & Friends’ Comic Dies at 63

Rose Ellison King, a humorist who wrote for the “”Flo & Friends”” comic, has died of breast cancer, according to a Sunday article in The Plain Dealer of Cleveland. The Ohio resident was 63.

King was a former art director at American Greetings.

“”Flo & Friends”” — by Jenny Campbell of Creators Syndicate — is a comic focusing on older characters.
