Homeward Bound

One-year-old chinook salmon are returned to their home waters at the head of Phillips Arm, located approximately 260 kilometers northwest of Vancouver, B.C., on April 18, 2011. The brood stock were taken from wile salmon, raised at a hatchery, and then released back into the wild.
