Elizabeth von Oehsen joins The Washington Post Design department as a news designer

We are excited to announce that Elizabeth von Oehsen will be joining the Design department as a news designer.

Elizabeth comes to The Post from the Mission marketing agency in Baltimore, where she worked on branding campaigns across social, web and print for a range of clients including Nike, Johns Hopkins University and the Maryland Science Center. She also founded and designed PaperJam, a D.C.-focused music DIY magazine.

Elizabeth received her BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA in graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

In addition to art and design, Elizabeth is passionate about music, cycling and Washington, D.C., culture.
