I’m delighted to welcome Ingrid Holmquist to Opinion Video as an associate producer. She will be assisting in editorial and production across all video formats in our department: Op-Docs, Vertical, Interactive, Podcast Video and Enterprise.

Ingrid is joining us from SurvivorNet, where she was a producer. Her work has been featured on the BBC, CNN Original Series and Brut Docs. She directed “Guanajuato Norte,” a student BAFTA-winning documentary acquired by The New Yorker. She worked as an A.P. on a “Sesame Street” series about how families talk to their children about race and racism. At CNN she worked on the Emmy Award-winning documentary “How the World Sees America.” Ingrid also directed and edited short documentaries about historic figures from Nebraska, her home state.

Ingrid has taught documentary filmmaking at the International Center of Photography and Columbia Journalism School. She is a graduate of Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
