Longtime newsroom manager and reporter Laura Gunderson has been named editor and vice president of content for The Oregonian/OregonLive, the publisher announced Friday.

For the past seven years, Gunderson has been managing editor for news, overseeing the politics, breaking news, business, opinion and investigative teams, as the news organization continued to face transformational challenges brought on by changes in reader habits and market forces.
