Malika Khurana joins the Graphics desk at The New York Times as a graphics editor

We’re excited to announce that Malika Khurana is joining the Graphics department as a graphics/multimedia editor.

Before coming to The Times, Malika worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab, where she designed a visual tool for scheduling communications between Earth and satellites and rovers on Mars. She also worked as an interaction designer at Formlabs, designing hardware and software interfaces for 3-D printing workflows.

Malika recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a master’s degree in computational design. She also has a design degree from the Royal College of Art, London.
