It’s good to be back.
The Pitt beat was already a place where I grew and learned a great deal about journalism, writing and myself. After two years of coverage on Pitt football and basketball, it wasn’t an easy decision to leave the beat to take a full-time job as a Steelers writer just a few months ago.
But that decision was based in my passion to make a bigger commitment to my career as a writer and a journalist; just as the decision was to join the Post-Gazette and return to the Pitt beat.
