Michelle Robinson becomes GM/CRO of Daily News in Galveston, Texas

Michelle Robinson will assume the newly created post of general manager for The Daily News in Galveston, Texas, effective July 1.

Robinson will be responsible for operational duties of the newspaper as well as retaining her role as chief revenue officer.

“I am proud of the great work Michelle is doing at The Daily News, changing our digital culture and creating stronger relationships in our community,” said Leonard Woolsey, publisher of The Daily News.

Woolsey serves as president of Southern Newspapers and will remain publisher of The Daily News. The new general manager post will involve an expanded leadership role over internal operations and community activities.
