Newz Group, the premier newspaper monitoring and archiving firm in the Midwest, is pleased to announce several staffing changes that will assist in the future advancement of the company with a growth emphasis in the coming year.

Ian Buchanan will succeed Brad Buchanan as president and CEO as of August 1. Buchanan has been with Newz Group since 2008 and has been serving as vice president since 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri and a BS in Computer Science from Oregon State University.

Amy Fritz was named the new chief content officer. Fritz has been with Newz Group since 2003 and was previously the operations director. She has been an integral part of transitioning the newspaper intake from hardcopy papers to digital; this process is more environmentally sustainable and allows quicker content turnaround.

Ben Buchanan was named vice president of finance. Buchanan has been with Newz Group since 2008 and was previously the director of resources. He attended Columbia College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business.
