Noosphere, a groundbreaking new media platform and app transforming the future of independent journalism and content creation, is proud to announce “Sunday Night with Chuck Todd,” its inaugural major original series.
Launching in June, “Sunday Night with Chuck Todd” is a revolutionary political show that cuts through Washington’s chaos with clarity, insight and authenticity. Moving away from polished studios and social media echo chambers, the show takes viewers into iconic D.C. social spots, including restaurants and bars around the city, where in-person, candid conversations with major newsmakers unfold in lively, real settings. Noosphere’s innovative app will deliver the show into the hands of fans and viewers, direct to their phones.
Hosted by acclaimed journalist and former anchor of NBC’s Meet The Press, Chuck Todd, the half-hour show features honest, face-to-face interviews in social spaces — offering sharp analysis, fresh perspectives and a weekly guide to what’s next in politics. It’s a return to genuine dialogue, unfiltered and energized, in a format that brings back the human element to political coverage.
“I could not be more excited about launching a new show with real conversations, in person, that cut through so much noise and loud opinion at a moment when it’s needed the most,” said Todd. “The show offers us a chance to break out of both network studios and home-based Zoom calls, to where we can see people face to face in normal environments, and come to learn from one another what’s really happening in Washington, D.C., at this crucial time.”
The production emphasizes authenticity, with a raw yet high-quality visual style that captures real conversations in vibrant, social environments — beyond the noise and tribalism of today’s polarized landscape. No talking heads or remote interviews, just immersive, compelling conversations that are easy to engage with.
“To be a central part of a new platform, that represents the next iteration of news content creation and distribution, is also really exciting and timely,” added Todd. “Noosphere is going to change the way news content is shared with audiences and readerships, by using innovative tech to connect them with the best journalists.”
Todd’s choice of the Noosphere platform for his next TV chapter reflects an embrace of new technology in the content creator space for journalism and media and marks his deep involvement with the innovative platform. Todd will lead Noosphere’s political content and help to oversee the onboarding of top political talent.
Leadership
The show will be Executive Produced by Yvette Vega, multi award-winning former EP of the PBS program “Charlie Rose.”
About Noosphere:
Noosphere was founded in 2024 by Jane Ferguson, an award-winning war reporter for PBS and The New Yorker, and visiting lecturer of Entrepreneurship at Princeton University, and co-founded by Sebastian Walker, Noosphere’s head of content. Walker is a former D.C. bureau chief and head of politics at Vice News.
It is a revolutionary subscription platform that transforms how journalists and audiences engage with news and storytelling. Designed to empower journalists in the content creator economy, Noosphere is an app-first platform that offers a curated bundle of the world’s top reporters and voices, enabling users to follow their favorite journalists and access exclusive content. Subscribers pay a single fee to access all creators in their feed, customizing their experience based on who they want to follow — delivering high-quality, trusted reporting directly to their devices.
“We are thrilled to welcome Todd to the platform,” said Ferguson. “This reflects our commitment to the best political reporting and content from some of the most respected and beloved journalists and experts out there.”
“We built Noosphere to completely reinvent distribution models of journalism and high-quality content, marrying it with innovative tech, created designed by us, that connects journalists to their fans directly, in the palm of their hand. ‘Sunday Night’ reflects our commitment to giving reporters the freedom to create and share their work how they want, when they want.”
Expanding the Noosphere vision
“Sunday Night with Chuck Todd” marks the first of Noosphere’s programming offerings, which the media tech company is planning to expand through other verticals, including business and lifestyle.
