Sheng’s responsibilities include overseeing the People Department’s strategy and planning, driving learning and growth initiatives, as well as supervising employee engagement and organizational development.

“We are delighted to have Sheng join our leadership team. The coronavirus pandemic has introduced new challenges and new opportunities in the workplace, and Sheng’s expertise and experience will help elevate SCMP’s value-driven culture, people-first strategies, and overall employee experience,” said Gary Liu, SCMP’s Chief Executive Officer.

“It is an exciting time to join a leading media company that embraces digital transformation initiatives while placing a strong emphasis on values, communication and an overwhelming dedication to building its people. I am looking forward to working with a purpose-driven team and am thrilled at the opportunity to take our organizational culture to new heights,” said Sheng.

With a track record of more than 15 years in luxury retail and consumer industries, Sheng brings a wealth of experience in leadership with several international organizations.

Sheng previously served on the leadership team at H&H Group as Group Senior Director of People & Culture. She oversaw major organizational changes and led the alignment of global HR practices.
