The Beaver County Times and Ellwood City Ledger add new reporters to staff

The Beaver County Times and Ellwood City Ledger in Pennsylvania received resumes from more than 100 journalists and interviewed more than two dozen of the best applicants before arriving at the four new bylines readers have seen in the last few months.

In a column to readers, Patrick O'Shea, editor, introduced the newest members of the newsroom staff: Joshua Carney, education and youth reporter; Dani Fitzgerald, community and health reporter; Garret Roberts, public priority reporter; and Chrissy Suttles, the newsroom's lead reporter who will cover business, energy and environment.
