We are delighted to announce that Adina Steiman, a wonderful talent, is joining the Food department and New York Times Cooking as a senior staff editor. She will be part of the editing team that helps produce all the recipes and culinary service stories for NYT Cooking and the Food section, and collaborates with the Product team.
Adina joins us from HelloFresh, where she was the manager of editorial content. Prior to her time at the meal-kit company, she worked across a range of publications and media companies as a food editor. After graduating from Oberlin in Ohio and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, she interned at Saveur and was a cookbook editor at Clarkson Potter. She returned to magazines as an editor at Martha Stewart Everyday Food, then moved to Men’s Health as food and nutrition editor. She won James Beard Awards for her innovative work there. Adina shifted to digital as special projects editor at the newly relaunched Epicurious, followed by positions at Real Simple and the digital side of Food & Wine, while also writing a cookbook column for The Wall Street Journal.
Adina started this week. Please join us in welcoming her to The Times.
