The Newark Star-Ledger will cease publication of its Saturday print edition, moving to an all-digital delivery of the Saturday edition beginning in 2024. A digital eNewspaper of the Saturday edition will continue to be available to print subscribers at https://enewssl.nj.com/.
The decision was made by the Star-Ledger’s owner, Newark Morning Ledger Co., due to rising costs and reduced demand for print.
The Times of Trenton and the South Jersey Times will also cease print publication on Saturdays. The final Saturday print editions will be published on December 30, 2023. The change does not impact the Jersey Journal, which will continue to publish in print their weekend edition on Saturdays.
