Tom Andrews, retired publisher of the Picayune Item in Mississippi and president of the Mississippi Press Association from 2007-2008, has died.
MPA shared the following on its Facebook page: "Tom worked for the newspaper industry for over 30 years and was a good friend to co-workers, colleagues, and many others. Services are pending but we will share more information when we have it. Tom is pictured in 2007 with his wife Dee when he was installed as MPA president. Dee preceded him in death in 2016. We send our condolences to Tom's family and friends."
