Two Nebraska papers close: Staff told to stop work

Platte Valley Media has closed two newspapers that serve Dawson County, Nebraska: The Tri-City Trib and The Gothenburg Times.

Staff members were told in a phone call to cease work immediately, the Gothenburg Leader reports.
