Weekly Times-Virginian has closed

It is with sadness that Womack Publishing announces the last publication of the Times-Virginian (Appomattox, Virginia) on Feb. 5, 2025.

Unfortunately, it is no longer financially feasible to continue publishing the Times-Virginian at the current level of support.

Adverse market conditions post-COVID are contributing factors to this decision.

Womack Publishing will continue operations in its other 11 markets in Virginia and North Carolina. 

It has been our pleasure to provide the local community journalism in Appomattox County and surrounding areas.
