By: (AP) British police on Friday arrested two men suspected of dealing in a stolen copy of the next Harry Potter novel.
"Two books were recovered and they are currently being held in secure circumstances as evidence," said Northhamptonshire police, who made the arrests in Kettering, 80 miles north of London.
Police said they had been tipped off that someone was attempting to sell a copy of the novel, and that the person was armed.
Two men aged 37 and 19 were arrested during the ensuing police operation.
The Sun newspaper confirmed that it had been approached by someone who wanted to sell a copy of the book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is to be published July 16. The newspaper said it had intended to hand the book over to authorities.
