2 Weeks Left to Submit Photo Contest Entries

By: E&P Staff The entry period for E&P's 2003 Newspaper Photos of the Year contest closes on Sept. 30.

E&P will print a gallery of the winning photos and select one grand prize winner to receive a $1,000 prize. Winning entries will also be exhibited at the Photo District News Photo Expo, Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in New York.

You may submit photographs that have been published in your newspaper or on your newspaper's Web site since Oct. 1, 2002. Categories include: news (spot/general), feature, sports, and multiple images/photo essay. Entries are broken down into circulation groups: over 200,000, 75,000-199,999, 25,000-74,999, and under 25,000.

Color or black & white (if taken with B&W film) photographs, digital prints and tear sheets up to 8 1/2" x 11" will be accepted. We will NOT accept prints larger than 8 1/2" x 11", transparencies or CD-ROMs.
