At first blush, the California water crisis and the Ebola outbreak don't seem to have a lot in common.   But Lara Setrakian, the co-founder and CEO of News Deeply, sees a deep connection. Both are subject to wild fluctuations in news coverage, ranging from invisibility to the-sky-is-falling hysteria, what Setrakian calls "frantic and catastrophizing" reporting. And that's not healthy.
