The Audit Bureau of Circulations on Monday launched the social media initiative ABC Connections, an online community where members and industry personnel can connect with the Audit Bureau on multiple platforms.

Members can read the bureau's new blog, follow ABC on Twitter, watch an online video, or joining the bureau's LinkedIn group. ABC also launched a Website for Canadian members and refreshed the design of its U.S. Website.

The monthly online newsletter is now a continuous news blog from which members can learn the latest rule changes and product updates, browse topical news stories from around the Web, review member case studies and testimonials, and stay informed about the most recent trends affecting print and digital media. An interactive feature allows readers to comment on topics.

With ABC part of the Twitter community, members can follow ABC and ABCi to stay up to date on rule changes, audit guidelines and industry trends.

ABC created a group on LinkedIn, where members can join and display the ABC and ABCi logos on their LinkedIn profile page while staying connected with the bureau and its members.

The new Website for ABC's Canadian members features the same content as the former ABC, but with rules, guidebooks, news releases, and product and service descriptions revamped to focus on subjects that most affect the Canadian membership.

The U.S. Website features a new header and graphics, new animated "news" box with integrated social media items, and online video, beginning with a welcome from President and Managing Director Michael J. Lavery. Future videos will cover new products, service enhancements and audit guidelines.
