ABC: Newspaper FAS-FAX Report to Be Released Next Monday

By: E&P Staff The newspaper FAS-FAX for the six months ending Mar. 31, 2006, will be released to Audit Bureau of Circulations members and the media next Monday, ABC confirmed today.

It said more more than 85% of ABC?s daily newspaper members will be included in this FAS-FAX release. Nearly 43% of newspaper members filed their Publisher?s Statements online.

Another update: Effective with the March-ending reporting period, all newspapers with circulation of 25,000 or more (about 450) were required to report daily and five-day circulation averages. About 120 newspapers not required to file day-of-week averages did so at their discretion.
