By: E&P Staff The New York Times Co. announced that Jeff Moriarty has been named senior vice president/product manager of About.com. Evan Minskoff has been appointed vice president/marketing of the About Group.
In his new role, Moriarty will be responsible for developing products that enhance user experience and giving advertisers efficient methods to reach targets. Minskoff will handle the group's consumer and trade marketing efforts, market research, and public relations.
Moriarty and Minskoff will both report to About Group President/CEO Cella Irvine.
Moriarty most recently was vice president of new media at the company's Regional Media Group. He also worked as vice president of product and technology at Boston.com.
Minskoff previously served as vice president/director of marketing at Digitas. He also worked in marketing at The Walt Disney Co. and Citi Cards.
