Access Internet
Magazine this week introduced a new design to its readers.

Access, the weekly magazine covering Internet news, selected a
more traditional magazine layout, based on feedback from readers, that
consists of department pages, an up-front table of contents, and a 8.5-

by-11-inch format. The redesign of the 19-month-old magazine was
executed by Maryjane Fahey & David O'Connor Editorial Design, New York.

'Readers told us Access is a valuable, portable Internet
reference they share with others. The issues don't stay at home;
readers take them to work, the gym, and their children's schools,' said
Stephanie Chang, editor of Access. 'We wanted readers to find
information quickly and easily, and present it in an inviting and
distinctive way.'

The magazine's content continues to provide 30 to 40 Web site reviews,
technology-related columns, and stories related to issues such as
business, health, travel, or family issues.

Access currently distributes more than eight million copies
through 70 metropolitan newspapers. Online access to the magazine is
through the newspaper affiliates' Web sites.
