Adicio in Deal with MediaNews Group for Real Estate Ads

By: E&P Staff Web-based classified advertising solutions developer Adicio, Carlsbad, Calif., is powering the online real-estate classifieds for 12 MediaNews Group sites.

The sites include LowellSun.com, in Massachusetts, Homes in York (Pa.), and TwinCities.com, in Minnesota. The other sites are part of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, which publishes nine dailies.

House hunters and renters can search on properties for sale and for rent or search local MLS listings and foreclosures across all sites. In addition, users visiting LowellSun.com, New Homes in York, TwinCities.com or the Los Angeles Daily News also have access to detailed community data, such as information about homes, communities, schools, and neighborhoods. Several sites also include sales-transaction reports and nearby shopping, dining, libraries, banks, churches, attractions and other services.

"Adicio was able to resolve our MLS feed issues and provide us with a self-service system that truly automates our online transactions," Susan Kelly-Gilbert, MediaNews Group director of multimedia sales, real estate, said in a statement.
