Adicio Launches Job Search Portal

By: E&P Staff Adicio is launching a job-search portal called CareerCast.com that takes listings from Adicio clients, including more than 200 newspapers.

Those seeking employment can create their own account on CareerCast to apply for jobs by uploading their resumes. In turn, CareerCast sends the seeker to the corresponding client's Web site. Employers can post single or multiple listings simultaneously to any participating site.

"CareerCast.com expedites the job search by providing unique content, tools and job listings all in one central location," Tony Lee, chief alliance officer of Adicio and publisher of CareerCast, said in a statement. "By directing job seekers to our clients' Web sites to read articles, view jobs and apply for positions, our client's sites will benefit from increased traffic."

In addition to newspaper clients, CareerCast post listings for broadcast, trade publishing (including E&P), and niche sites totaling more than 500 clients.
