By: E&P Staff Web-based classified advertising solutions developer Adicio in Carlsbad, Calif., has launched its Real Estate Products and Packages Manager, which, along with other platform enhancements, increases a client's ability to generate more revenue via e-commerce.
Adicio clients can now manage their own real estate classified advertising products and packages, as well as the sales of their products and packages, from the Products and Packages Manager. Available in Adicio's SiteManager 2, the feature enables administrators to create products and packages to be sold via e-commerce or used for specific accounts. SiteManager 2 gives Adicio clients access to manage all their advertisers' accounts online, in addition to more than 35 detailed reports.
Site administrators can choose from various options to highlight products and packages, including placing them on an ad-posting page, in a media kit, or on a special-packages page. They also can create packages of listings, upgrades or both. A package can consist of a group of listings offered for one price, a group of upgrades offered for one price, or a combination of listings and upgrades, such as 10 listings, five featured upgrades and five open-house upgrades offered for one price.
Products and packages applied to accounts via SiteManager 2 are tracked in Adicio's Product Sales Report. Every transaction funnels through Adicio's self-service e-commerce system, giving Adicio Real Estate clients a quick view of revenue collected via credit card or invoice transactions.
Advertisers also benefit from the self-service e-commerce by buying listings, packages or upgrades online, prepaying for listings, upgrades or packages, then using them later and bypassing checkout.
