By: Jennifer Saba AdMission announced today it has signed an agreement to provide ad-on features to Microsoft's free classified marketplace, Windows Live Expo.

Ad Mission rolled out Spotlight Ads on Windows Live Expo for the auto and real estate category. With the new partnership, those placing ads on the site can now have them featured in more prominent positions with scrolling listings that appear on the right hand of the Web page in search results, the vertical's homepage, and the main homepage.

The cost to use the feature runs from $10 to $20 and includes picutres.

"We chose AdMission as a technology ally in creating the featured ads program because it had a proven record in the classified business and a very innovative turnkey solution," said Garry Wiseman, product unit manager of Windows Live Expo, in a statement.

Newspapers represent about 25% of AdMission's business, though the company works with other media customers, said Leif Welch, vice president of business development. AdMission shares revenue from its partners.

The Denver Post, The Orange County (Calif.) Register, and the Arizona Republic in Phoenix use AdMission's advertising solutions.
