AdPay and Planet Discover Team Up

By: E&P Staff AdPay and Planet Discover have partnered to link AdPay's Click-N-Buy Classifieds system with Planet Discover's Integrated Search solution.

The pairing will allow online shoppers to link from Planet Discover's directory search results to AdPay's e-commerce-enabled merchant storefronts and private party classifieds.

"Newspapers are under increased pressure to provide a complete online shopping experience," Mike Heene, CEO and president of AdPay, said in a statement. "The unique combination of e-commerce-enabled local shopping content and effective search provides newspapers with a significant competitive advantage in the battle for the local online marketplace."

The Denver Newspaper Agency will be the first to deploy the combined technologies.
