Advantage Newspaper Consultants Makes Inroads in Canadian Newspaper Market

By: E&P Staff Advantage Newspaper Consultants (ANC), a leading provider of advertising sales support for newspaper TV supplements, has entered an agreement with Transcontinental's The Guardian in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, to help increase the paper?s print and online TV listings revenue share.

In addition, as part of ANC's ongoing acquisition of Tribune Media Services' local ad sales division, ANC is also providing ad sales support to the TV section of the Prince Albert (Saskatchewan) Daily Herald.

It also offers programs to increase Web advertising sales for newspapers? branded Web sites and provides digital publication services for daily newspapers, special publications and independent community magazines.

By integrating newspaper industry experience with technology, ANC's sales program generated more than $25 million in advertising revenue for newspapers in 2008.
