Agfa, Kodak, Fuji Certify Plates for alfaQuest CTP

By: E&P Staff Three plate manufacturers have certified their violet photopolymer plates for operations with Fastrak violet computer-to-plate exposure units from alfaQuest Technologies Inc., Rolling Meadows, Ill.

The certified compatible plates are: Agfa's N91V, now used on a pair of semiautomatic Fastraks at 'The Spectrum,' Gannett's daily in St. George, Utah; Fuji's FDT 330, imaged by two Fastraks with Trakmate autoloaders at Shearman's 'American Press,' in Lake Charles, La.; and Kodak's Violet News, output by a Fastrak with Trakmate to prints the 'Journal-World,' in Lawrence, Kan.
