By: E&P Staff The Atlanta Journal-Constitution rolled out a marketing campaign emphasizing its reach in Atlanta. The campaign uses audience data provided by Scarborough Research.
The ads break today, first in print before hitting online, direct mail and e-mail.
"As a full-featured media solutions provider, the campaign will center around all three of the distinct platforms the AJC offers -- print, digital, and direct mail," Amy Chown, vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "This campaign tells the story of our reach and dominant position in the marketplace as the leading advertising source."
The marketing push compares the AJC with other media outlets highlighting such points as the Sunday edition reaches more than twice as many Atlantans as the top-rated TV show, American Idol. And the ajc.com delivers a larger audience than any other local media Web site -- twice as much as its local competitor.
The campaign was created by the AJC's marketing team.
