By: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution added new features to its ajc.com photo galleries. The galleries, which have no pop-up windows, use consistent ajc.com navigation.
The ajc.com team adjusted the gallery layout, functionality and usability, including:
-Thumbnail previews of all images
-Easier navigation to other galleries and archives
- "Top Picks" photo galleries chosen by AJC staff
- Gallery sharing supported through e-mail and links to social networking sites
- Large ad box that refreshes and can be targeted by gallery
- Improved search engine optimization and greater visibility to search engines
