By: E&P Staff Caspio Inc., Mountain View, Calif., supplier of rapid Web database applications, announced that database reporting and analysis expert David A. Millrion joined the company as media services director from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where he was Internet Technologies Group senior manager and previously served as director of computer-assisted reporting and analysis.
At Caspio, Milliron will assist Caspio's growing customer base of media companies leveraging the Caspio Bridge framework for rapid online database publishing.
Noting the AJC's use of Caspio Bridge for over two years, Milliron said in a statement, "There wasn't a week that went by that we didn't use Caspio Bridge to deploy newsworthy data or use its wizard-driven framework to create web-based surveys, contests or mashups."
Cox Newspapers, Lee Enterprises and MediaNews Group are among companies that have created more than 50,000 Web applications with Caspio Bridge as a "no-programming" way to quickly create and deploy database-driven search applications, forms and reports to any Web site.
