'Al D?a' of Dallas Marks Third Year With New Ad Campaign

Posted
By: E&P Staff Al D?a, the Spanish-language daily published by The Dallas Morning News, is marking its third anniversary Friday with a continuing program of community events, and a new round of television commercials.

The TV spots, produced by the Dallas agency The Creative Exchange, begin running on local Spanish-language television Sept. 29. One spot focuses on a local family's relationship and engagement with the newspaper, while the other highlights the paper's journalists.

Both echo Al D?a's tagline: "Most Local. Most Complete. Most Read."

For the past several weeks, Al D?a has also celebrated the anniversary by supporting an early childhood educational program for at-risk children, and similar programs. It is hosting a job fair in October.

"Al D?a has increasingly become part of the daily lives of Dallas-Ft. Worth Hispanics and we look forward to the opportunity of continuing to serve the community," the paper's publisher and editor, Gilbert Bail?n, said in a statement.

Al D?a is a free-distribution paper published Monday through Saturday.
