Al Jazeera International to Lay Off U.S. Operations Staff

Al Jazeera International is laying off all of its full time technology and operations staff in the United States, turning to a contractor to fulfill their audio and visual needs.

The reorganization is in addition to the shuttering of Al Jazeera America, which will officially shut down next month.
