Allen Named Editor of 'Times Argus' of Barre-Montpelier, Vt.

By: E&P Staff Longtime Vermont writer Sue Allen has been named editor of The Times Argus of Barre-Montpelier, Vt., reports the paper.

Allen began her journalism career in 1982 as an assistant to the executive editor of USA Today. She then moved to Vermont in 1986 where she served as lead Statehouse reporter for The Burlington (Vt.) Free Press and the Associated Press. She also worked as press secretary for former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean.

Most recently, Allen was an editorial writer at the Burlington Free Press.
