By: E&P Staff Publishing Group of America (PGA) is shuffling its sales operation.
The publisher of newspaper magazines American Profile and Relish has promoted Amy Chernoff to senior vice president, group publisher for all titles. She was previously vice president and publisher of American Profile and director of corporate sales. She started with PGA in 1999 as a member of its founding sales team.
Under the new organization, Chernoff will oversee Spry Publisher Bob Mattone and a new team of associate publishers that have responsibilities across all titles.
Linda Rich has been appointed associate editor, direct response. Shannon Hay is now East Coast associate publisher. Erica Schultz becomes Midwest associate publisher. Frank Zier has been named Nashville and West Coast associate publisher.
In a newly created position, Michele Belier has been appointed as director of research marketing. She joins PGA from Zenith Media. Julia Light comes on board as marketing services director. She was previously at Playboy.
"Clients need faster turnaround on ideas and marketing programs," Dick Porter, CEO of PGA, said in a statement. "We're effectively expanding our presence in the marketplace by empowering a new level of decision makers."
