Anthony Simmons has been appointed vice president of circulation at The Journal News in White Plains, N.Y.

Simmons joins The Journal News from the Asbury Park (N.J.) Press, where he was vice president of circulation. Before that, he held circulation-related positions at the Green Bay (Wis.) Press-Gazette, Journal Register Co.,and the New Haven (Conn.) Register.
